I'm the Creative Director at Princeton University's Blue Lab, an environmental storytelling and media production studio I co-founded with Professor Allison Carruth in 2021. In June 2024, through an award from the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities, we developed and staged our inaugural Popup Story Patch at Morris Arboretum & Gardens in Philadelphia. Emphasizing imagination, memory, speculation and active engagement, the project invites visitors to participate in conversations, experiences and creative projects that might reframe how they think about and engage with the more-than-human world. I directed, filmed, wrote, narrated and edited this short film about the project.
